Maumee, OH, January 23, 2023 – Aktion Associates, Inc., national software reseller and IT infrastructure provider focused on the Architectural Engineering & Construction, Distribution and Manufacturing industries, announced today the appointment of Jonathan Monroe to the position of Vice President, Architecture, Engineering and Professional Services (AES) Division. The appointment was made in response to the retirement of James Falkanger who served as AES Division vice president from July, 2021 to December, 2022.
“I’m confident in Jonathan to lead this division and its growing team,” said Aktion CEO Scott Irwin. “He has senior leadership and consulting experience as well as a deep understanding of Deltek and the professional services industry. Jonathan is the right person to manage this division and help our customers succeed,” Irwin added.
Monroe will lead a team of sales representatives, application consultants and software engineers in delivering next generation ERP software to the Architecture, Engineering and Professional Services industries, including Deltek Vantagepoint. His team is also focused on supporting current customers using heritage Deltek software. Monroe is responsible for strategic partnerships with customers and vendors, employee engagement, as well as division sales and service growth.
Before being named division vice president, Monroe served as Practice Manager in the AES Division. Prior to joining Aktion, Monroe held several management positions with Central Consulting Group, including VP Client Services, Managing Consultant and Senior Consultant. Monroe was honorably discharged from the United States Air Force in 2005 where he served as an Electronics Specialist.
Monroe graduated Summa Cum Laude from University of Mary with an MBA, Business Administration. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration/Computer Information Systems also from University of Mary. Monroe holds an associate degree in Applied Science, Electronic Systems Technology from Community College of the Air Force.
