Maumee, OH, January 6, 2023 — Aktion Associates, Inc., a national software reseller and IT infrastructure provider focused on the Architectural Engineering & Construction, Distribution and Manufacturing industries, announced today the acquisition of the Acumatica customer practice from Alliance Solutions Group, a Florida-based Acumatica and Sage software reseller. A total of 100 Acumatica Construction users have been acquired by Aktion. The acquisition aligns with Aktion’s strategic interests in becoming the largest value-added reseller (VAR) in North America servicing the Architect, Engineering and Construction (AEC) industries with industry-leading solutions.
“Aktion started our Acumatica relationship to focus on the wholesale distribution and discrete manufacturing sectors. When Acumatica launched its Construction Edition product, we spun off a new division titled Multi-Industry (MI) with Acumatica as its anchor product. Our Acumatica division has its own go-to-market personnel for sales, service delivery, and support. Aktion personnel involved with Acumatica are in a separate division from our Sage, Deltek, and Infor anchored divisions,” said Aktion CEO Scott Irwin. “This is our third customer acquisition in the past two years. We’re on target with our strategic plan and making investments to build Aktion into a top-five VAR in North America,” he added.
In May 2022 Aktion acquired United Solutions, a Massachusetts-based Sage CRE software reseller and in 2021 acquired Central Consulting Group, an Arizona-based Deltek software reseller.
Most of Alliance Solutions Group’s Acumatica field service personnel joined Aktion, bringing the total Acumatica-focused workforce to 40 employees.
The newly-acquired Acumatica customers will have access to Aktion’s full-service IT consulting team and its portfolio of services, including network engineering; software engineering; application and industry consulting; and cloud and managed service programs designed specifically for our industries of focus.
