In this session we discuss what revenue generation does, how it works, and how to enable it for your database and projects. You will gain an understanding of the revenue generation cycle, the benefits of using the revenue generation function, and precautions for using the revenue generation function. This session will assist you with multi-company settings, database-wide settings, a breakdown of Deltek Vantagepoint standard revenue generation methods and user-defined revenue methods, as well as individual project settings to ensure your revenue generation is set up is done appropriately for your company needs.
Session 2: Thursday, February 22, 2024 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm ET
In this session we will discuss the advanced settings of revenue generation and practice processing different revenue generation method calculations based on real-life examples. The advanced settings discussion takes a deeper dive into calculations at project and group levels, calculating revenue by category, and setting up revenue limits. The practice examples allow attendees to process revenue generation, run project reports, and review financial reports using unique revenue generation configurations.
This online training course consists of two 3-hour instructor-led learning courses and will provide time for Q&A.
