The completion of this audit provides evidence that Aktion Associates has a commitment to deliver high quality data hosting services to its customers by demonstrating it has the necessary system, controls and processes in place. A-LIGN, a cybersecurity and compliance firm, conducted the audit.
The *SOC 1 Type 2 audit is a recognized compliance and controls standard established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and is used by service providers in the technology industry to ensure specific standards for hosting customer data are met. The audit included a review of Aktion’s IT infrastructure services system and assessed physical security; information security; environmental security; data communications; computer operations – availability/backup; and control environment.
