ERP Account Manager

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Experienced Job Costing Accounting Sales Professional to cover the entire AEC market with Sage Intacct for Construction, Acumatica Construction Edition, and Deltek Vantagepoint.
  • Identify and engage with target prospects in a defined territory.
  • Manage entire sales lifecycle for new clients (from prospecting to closing).
  • Manage entire sales lifecycle for new leads obtained from channel partners.
  • Manage current install base customers as their software needs expand.
  • Carry Annual Sales Revenue Goal.
  • Update records in CRM.
  • Work with presales resources to demo software.

Education, Experience and Skills:

  • 5-7 years above quota software sales experience preferably with major Construction ERP software.
    • Sage (CRE or Intacct), Deltek (Vision or Vantagepoint), Acumatica and Infor (CSD or SX.e)
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience desired.
  • Conduct effective needs analysis.
  • Strong verbal, written and presentation skills.
  • Willing to travel locally up to 30-50%.

Senior Staff Accountant

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Perform monthly journal entries (depreciation, prepaids, accruals, etc.).
  • Maintain fixed asset tracking and reconciliation.
  • Prepare and review monthly reconciliations for balance sheet accounts.
  • Draft financial statements and reports for review by the Controller/CFO.
  • Prepare financial statements, including actual vs. budget analysis by product and financial metrics.
  • Support the year-end audit process and prepare documentation.
  • Handle transfer pricing and inter-company reconciliations.
  • Reconcile and track T4A reporting for vendors and ensure compliance with CRA regulations.
  • Convert invoices from USD to CAD for Xcharges and manage vendor-related transactions.
  • Reconcile commissions for sales representatives and submit to payroll.
  • Administer and track sales commissions and tier attainment.
  • Calculate quarterly bonuses, accrue, and book to general ledger.
  • File monthly/quarterly sales tax returns with CRA and provincial agencies.
  • Ensure the sales tax matrix is correctly applied across systems.
  • Track income by province for tax purposes.

Education, Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in a multi-entity environment.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (Acumatica, Aplus, or similar).
  • Strong knowledge of Canadian accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Associate Staff Accountant

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the end-to-end billing process for software sales, recurring SaaS, hosting, managed services, and professional services.
  • Ensure accurate revenue recognition in compliance with ASPE, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to manage contracts and revenue arrangements, including multi-year contracts and subscription services.
  • Maintain and reconcile billing accounts, ensuring timely and accurate invoicing across different regions.
  • Monitor and analyze revenue metrics, providing insights and reports to management.
  • Assist with the implementation and maintenance of billing systems and ERP integrations to streamline billing processes and improve efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with sales tax regulations in Canada, working closely with the finance and compliance teams.
  • Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives to optimize billing and revenue operations.

Education, Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • 3 years experience in subscription billing is preferred
  • Acumatica recurring billing experience is a plus
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment while meeting tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail
