Senior Staff Accountant
Role and Responsibilities:
- Lead the procurement process for Technology purchases, including software, hardware, consulting services, hosting and managed services, including vendor investigation and completing contracts.
- Work with the sales team to ensure contract terms, service level agreements and escalation processes are followed throughout sales process.
- Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis to Unit Managers.
- Adhere to tight deadlines while coordinating the successful completion of accounting activities including general ledger and support of all budgets and forecast activities.
- Multi state sales tax filing.
- Ability to perform additional tasks, as requested by the Controller or CFO.
Education, Experience and Skills:
- B.S degree with major in Accounting from an accredited college or university.
- 5-7 years of experience in Accounting.
- Working knowledge of Technology trends, complex software models, SAAS, Cloud, Managed Services, etc.
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel.
- Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal with the ability to interact at all levels of the organization.

Role and Responsibilities:
- Lead and support client software implementations.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by resolving questions, tracking issues, and escalating according to company guidelines.
- Utilize and follow Aktion’s methodology to achieve successful client implementation.
- Proactively communicate with clients and team to achieve exceptional client satisfaction.
Education, Experience and Skills:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience with Sage Intacct ERP software.
- Demonstrated accounting/financial skill.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent work experience is preferred.
