Aktion Associates to expand its market in the Midwest by offering leading software solutions and complete IT services to Chicago area companies.
MAUMEE, OH – September 1, 2010 – Aktion Associates, a provider of hardware, software and networking solutions to businesses in the US, has acquired CMS Group, Inc., an Aurora, Il-based Sage partner. In a parallel move, Aktion has added the Chicago territory to its distribution agreement with Deltek, a provider of project-based software solutions. As a result of these two business initiatives, Aktion will deliver its full suite of IT deliverables, including Sage Timberline Enterprise, Sage Timberline Office and Sage Master Builder software; Deltek software solutions; IT infrastructure; managed services; and web development, to the Chicago market.
Mary Davolt, President of CMS Group, will oversee the Chicago operation including sales and service management, and ensuring customer satisfaction. She will assume a position on Aktion Associates’ executive management team.
