On April 12, 2011, First Lady Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden, together with Intacct, SCORE, the AICPA, the Walmart Foundation and other technology leaders, including Cisco, HP, Microsoft and Salesforce.com, announced the new nationwide initiative, Joining Forces. Joining Forces will provide business resources and tools to help transition military families into successful business owners and entrepreneurs.
Serving those who sacrifice to serve us
To support the Joining Forces program, Intacct, SCORE, the AICPA and its member firms, along with other technology leaders, announced the Veterans Fast Launch initiative, a combined package of pro bono services, education and software that includes:
- Access to business training through the SCORE network of 13,500 volunteer mentors and trainers
- A no-charge initial subscription to award-winning Intacct cloud-based financial management and accounting software
- Financial literacy education and business startup tools from the AICPA
- Business consulting and accounting services provided by AICPA member firms
- Additional services and software to help accelerate success from other major corporate partners
