ROLE AT AKTION:
Libby Beemer, Director of Marketing, oversees the strategic development and execution of all marketing activities including lead generation, product/service marketing, vendor/client communication, and business development efforts.
PREVIOUS JOB EXPERIENCE:
Libby joined Aktion Associates in 1999. Prior to joining Aktion Associates, she was the Marketing Director for Edison Industrial Systems Center (EISC), a consortium of public, private and government entities focused on bringing emerging and advanced technologies to Midwest companies to further their potential for growth. Her career also includes experience working at regional advertising and marketing firms.
EDUCATION:
Libby holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications/public relations from the University of Toledo. She is a current member of The University of Toledo Communications Alumni Affiliate Committee and a member of the Events Committee for the Toledo Chamber of Commerce. She is a past member of several marketing/advertising/public relations organizations including the Toledo Chapter of Women in Communications and the Public Relations Society of America.
